The only visual difference between a pro and a classic is the red tag on the side. Old Skool (Different Heaven Remix) is Different Heavens remix of Televisors original track, Old Skool. They won't fall apart, and they'll stay supportive and comfortable for a long long time. They were the first shoes I got out of all of the classic pros and now I've got 3 old skool pros and 5 authentic pros. Jennifer Lopez / Britney Spears / TLC / RUN-DMC / Usher / Blu Cantrell / OutKast / Tina Moore / Mis-Teeq / DJ Pied Piper / Eric Prydz / A Tribe Called Quest + many more. Their insoles are better, their durability is better, there's no leather to rub your foot wrong and they just feel outstanding. 100 Hits Old Skool Anthems recalls the best of R&B, Hip Hop, Dance, & UK Garage. The foxing will get mushed up and end up looking like a squished marshmallow, and the outsole is white instead of rubber. The only visual difference is the outsole and foxing. They're cool initially but after you wear them and totally break them in they don't feel as nice as classics or pros.

They gave us free pairs of lites for the US Open and I hardly wear mine anymore. Lites are great for walking around in, but in my opinion lack the support of classics or pros which makes them feel sort of filmsy and odd after a while. All in all they're decent shoes, and they definitely come in more colors than the pros or lites. The majority of Old Skools are a mix of Canvas and suede though so I don't get the need for Canvas in their names.Īnyways, classic old skools feel ok, they typically have leather around the ankle and heel though which can rub the ever living shit out of your feet until you break them in using high socks.
There are styles though like Canvas / Formula One and Canvas is just part of the name.
I've been working at Vans for two years and I've never seen a different model called canvas. Canvas old skool + old skool sound like the same thing.
